Freshness of the products and respect for the environment: these are the ingredients behind the new projects designed by Misa for McDonald’s, one of the largest restaurant chains, famous throughout the world.
This is a long-standing partnership that is renewed for the creation of two restaurants, in Rome and Casale Monferrato (AL).
Following a careful study of the customer’s needs, Misa proposed the installation of two cold rooms, TN and BT, and the related refrigeration systems.
Antibacterial treatment for food safety
In order to help ensure food safety, the highest quality of raw materials and the tastiness of the dishes, all cell panels are made of plasticized sheet metal and are treated with an antibacterial treatment.
It is an innovative antibacterial system with silver ions, for total and permanent protection for the entire useful life of the cell. This patented technology is an example of sustainable innovation and is designed to prevent, fight and eliminate numerous species of bacteria, while ensuring antimicrobial activity.
Energy-saving inner doors and digital temperature recorders for perfect food preservation
McDonald’s is a virtuous company, “from field to tray”: the choice of suppliers and the resource protection policy are, therefore, crucial. In this sense, Epta presents itself as an ideal partner. Misa cells boast LED lighting, digital temperature recorders, kitchen alarm repeaters. DOW Pascal™ Pro helps make Misa cells unique. This technology ensures a thermal conductivity value λ 0.0205 W/mK, among the lowest on the market. Furthermore, in order to optimize the thermal insulation of the cells, Misa also supplied inner doors and, for the Casale restaurant, chose industrial panels with a thickness of 150 mm in the LV cells, to further improve their efficiency.
Refrigeration systems tailored to every need
To meet the needs of sales outlets, Misa has proposed MISASILENT systems, hulled and silenced condensing units with scroll compressor, which stand out for their silence and are therefore ideal in contexts close to private homes.
Energy saving, attention to food safety and specific project requirements are combined with practicality and robustness. The doors are made of stainless steel and the BT cells are equipped with bumpers to protect against impacts.
Finally, all the cells boast a checkerboard aluminum reinforcement, coordinated with the masonry walls, to ensure maximum integration into the environment, as well as resistance.
